This session is looking into various practices allies can implement to support LGBTIQ+ friends and schoolmates. Beginning by providing the audience with basic tools to understand LGBTIQ+ realities, we will then answer questions such as: What is a coming in/out? How to hold an inclusive standpoint as a friend? How to be helpful towards LGBTIQ+ people in hostile environments? What vocabulary to use to respect each other’s identities?
