Digitalisation currently tends to make some human brains 'lazy' and leads to a decrease in certain cognitive abilities.
At school, teachers are confronted with very different levels of learning in their classrooms and with operating modes that are increasingly difficult to channel. Capturing young people's attention and motivating them to learn has become increasingly complex with the rise of the internet and smartphones.
To meet the challenges of the new economy, companies need young, creative and critical thinkers on the one hand, and experienced employees ready to learn new technologies on the other.
How can we build more bridges between these two worlds - school and business, school education and lifelong learning? How can we motivate and help young - and not so young - people to learn throughout their lives and to develop new skills? Would it be possible to invent a new type of intelligence that would make the path to knowledge more personal, more joyful and more effective?
As a teacher and researcher in neuroscience, Jean-Jacques Martin will present his quantum approach to pedagogy, in which a biological brain and a benevolent AI must learn and teach each other to project themselves into a new universe shaped by accelerating social disruption.
