Ed is the Director of boys' boarding at Le Rosey since 2017. He graduated from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) with a degree in child psychology and Bible studies. He started his career working with children suffering from cerebral palsy. He later qualified as a Microsoft Office User Specialist and in 2001 Ed and his family immigrated to the UK where he gained experience in special needs schools, an all-girls’ school as well as Lord Wandsworth College as a Housemaster. It was at LWC where he became the inaugural winner of the Stephen Winkley boarding achievement award in 2015. He is an experienced pastoral educator and leader, passionate about opportunities afforded by boarding and a believer in schooling for character, kindness and a growth mindset informed by Christian principles. Ed loves sports, especially rugby and cricket. He also knows his way around a braai (BBQ).
